It seems IT professionals keep their New Year's revolutions, with almost a third maintaining their pledge to find a new job.
The recruiter, the IT Job Board, found that of the people in the IT world who said they would find a new job, 30.6 per cent kept their resolution, reports IT Pro.
Alex Farrell, the managing director of the recruitment firm, told the website: "Everyone starts the year with the best of intentions, but we recognise that the pressure of everyday life can deter them from achieving the changes they want to make."
He added that the results are "encouraging" with it showing that people "take their job seriously".
IT professionals were not concerned about the current economic downturn, with almost 95 per cent of people happy to look for a job despite it.
However, 7.1 per cent of people said they did not think they would find a better position.
A recent report by CV Screen has found that the number of people looking to work in the IT industry has risen by 17 per cent so far this year.
