Prism Microsystems and Jacadis have teamed up to offer a new
managed security solution giving clients "complete" security visibility into IT infrastructures.
The two companies have formed a partnership to offer managed services for enterprises that want to improve their security while also investing as few resources as possible.
With businesses increasingly making efforts to protect themselves from malicious attacks, the two companies claim their solution can effectively prevent security breaches by providing greater visibility into the IT infrastructure.
Doug Davidson, president of Jacadis, noted that there is a growing interest in software-based security solutions: "A lot of our customers had been requesting a software-based security monitoring solution as opposed to an appliance-based model, because of superior scalability, flexibility and ease of use associated with the prior."
Meanwhile, Willie M Tejada, the vice-president of Application Acceleration for Akamai Technologies, has said that businesses can make sure that their application performance is fast and reliable by using managed applications.
