Google has expanded the search application capacity server to aid extraction of software for Enterprise Resource Planning [ERP] purposes.
According to CnetNews, the updated device can now index ten million documents and allows managers to retrieve information needed for ERP and CRM systems.
Matthew Glotzbach, director of product management for enterprise at Google, said search results can be refined by a metabase associated with documents, in addition to producing different categories for each employee.
Recently Best Syndication advised that many businesses do not implement their ERP services efficiently.
The website advised before implementing ERP the tools and techniques need to be established and the business needs to determine what it hopes to gain from it.
Successful ERP relies on a firm devising a sales and operations plan, where financial business policies are transferred into ones to run the business.
Another key is ensuring these plans have a "common language", the source advises, as the two departments need to work well together. |
