The Falling Costs of Wide Area Networks
Complimentary Research Report |
Abstract
Based on 2008 pricing data gathered from a selection of Service Providers, we survey what connectivity options are affordable for small and medium-sized businesses. In particular we examine where wide area networks are today and based on historic trends, project where they are headed. We argue that given current trends we are entering an era where small and medium businesses will have a host of new opportunities as they find within their grasp many of the same connectivity and Wide Area Network capabilities formerly limited to large corporations.
Includes 2008 Pricing for:
-
MPLS costs [5, 20 and 50 site locations]
-
Internet connectivity costs: Leased lines & Ethernet
-
