Overview
The Company's primary activity is to provide an advisory / intermediary service for Information Communication Technology (ICT) services and solutions to mid-market and enterprise businesses. Over the past 3 years we have developed a unique offering, saving companies time and money by reducing the costs associated with poor vendor selection.
Solution Advisers are the first point of contact between potential customers and service providers. Their primary task is to qualify leads, match them to suitable service providers and track the progress of each lead through to conclusion. Ideally you will have experience in sales, telesales or telemarketing in a business-to-business environment. Your role includes ensuring that the customer receives the very best service from the right service providers; monitoring the sales-cycle and customer experience.
As a virtual worker you will have online access to our systems to enable you to work remotely from home, prospecting and servicing clients, providing a valuable intermediary service to ICT decision makers. Comfortable using the telephone, internet and working remotely, you will enjoy the challenges of business development, aspire to the flexible work/life balance and have the confidence and drive to meet a performance related remuneration package. Headquartered in Hammersmith, West London, the Company operates a hot desk environment where you would spend at least one full day every two weeks.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Respond to and follow up high quality ICT leads generated from OSC web site, by telephone and e-mail and marketing campaigns. 2. Establish relationships with prospective clients, helping to identify their business challenges and helping to provide a solution, involving our Vendor Partners 3. Develop and service a pipeline of enquiries and professionally manage the sales cycle between client and vendors. 4. Liaise closely with the vendor partners and clients, tracking progress of each opportunity 5. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with vendor partners. 6. Seek and personally generate high quality sales leads through business development opportunities. 7. Work with the management team to achieve activity and performance targets 8. Account manage existing and new customers 9. Provide regular market feedback to the vendors to ensure the Company's services are continuously improved and ensure any problems are reported and resolved quickly. 10. Fully utilise the Company's online CRM systems to enable full reporting on activity and sales pipeline. 11. Attend company training and sales meetings as required by management.
Skills, Experience and Competencies
The ideal candidate must:-
Demonstrate a passion for developing or furthering a career within the ICT industry
Be comfortable using the telephone and internet, working remotely
Have a professional demeanour with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly literate / numerate
Proactive, able to prospect and find new business opportunities
Able to assess opportunities as they arise, identify the issues, research potential solutions / vendors and propose possible solutions
Comfortable and proficient using hosted CRM software, VoIP & web conferencing
Have strong business acumen, with an in-depth understanding of business and market drivers to grow and retain clients
Demonstrate a drive to succeed; be self-motivated and self-disciplined
Have an ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Results orientated
Able to deliver tangible results in a relatively unstructured environment
Personally well organised
Methodical and systematic worker
Self-starter capable of prioritising his or her own workload and handling multiple tasks in parallel
Enthusiastic about contributing to a winning team providing unprecedented levels of service to our customers
Desire to further their career through promotion or through higher earning brackets
Desire for continuous learning through self-study and gaining certifications
Preferred
Experienced in B2B sales, telemarketing or telesales, not necessarily from an IT background*
In-depth knowledge of one or more ICT 'domains' (ISP/ Carrier; Info Security; Managed Services; Web server hosting; Web development)
In-depth understanding of products and services within you 'domain(s)'.
